Privilege and Wealth!

This is me below:

This photo was taken in February 2016. I like this photo, it was taken by a very dear friend who is like a sister to me.

It was taken when I was just about to deliver a lecture to Rabbis, Imams, Spiritual Leaders, Pastors, Rabbi students, Muslim Community Workers etc at an Interfaith Conference in Germany.

I look really pensive.

I was.

I had put my heart and soul into my lecture which is entitled God’s voice in a Secular Society. That was the theme of the Conference.

This lecture you can read here too here on this WordPress blog as I made it into a blog when I started these blogs. It is long, so I recommend you stay with this particular blog first as this is a shorter read. You can read that one later.

Why am I sharing this photo with you?

I still use it now.

Yes that is one reason why I am sharing it with you.

I am also sharing it with you to show you as an Entrepreneur it is so easy to fall into the trap of wanting everything to look perfect, flawless.

This is an old photo not taken by a Professional but by a friend.

Yet it works for me as it captures me in my authenticity.

And that is what people want to connect with, someone they can relate to.

Not all people who want to be entrepreneurs want six or seven figure businesses.

Some just want peace and joy and a little bit more financial security.

Some people just want to relate to someone who is a few steps ahead of them. They just want a bit of guidance and they feel they can get to their goal by themselves after that.

I see so many Entrepreneurs lose sight of that.

They stop being themselves and are trying to be someone else, usually someone they admire.

But real Entrepreneurship comes when you are giving to the world what comes from yourself in your entirety.

Then magic and miracles abound.

Wealth is created.

I am not just taking about financial wealth.

I am talking spiritual and physical and emotional wealth.

This photo symbolises the start of a journey, which I didn’t even know I was starting.

I entered the world of being a thought leader, guide and healer.

Before this I just saw myself as a mere Practitioner.

I unconsciously started my journey of transitioning from being an Employee to emerge as an Entrepreneur.

Back in 2016, I remember that I felt very privileged to be delivering that lecture. The Interfaith Conference has been happening for over 30 years, I believe.

I recall when I first attended the Interfaith Conference in 2003, how I admired the quiet but strong presence of the Muslim Woman who delivered it. She spoke in German and while I had the English Translation of her lecture in front of me, her words did not reach my heart.

Her pain reached my heart.

I recall that I was touched by her angst and frustration and deep sorrow that she felt when no one around her understood her.

I suddenly felt less alone.

It made me stronger, knowing I was not the only one who feels like this doing the work I do.

And although I knew after listening to her, I would probably never meet her again, she had made an impact and that was enough.

Her courage to speak, I admired her quiet courage to just be who she is.

When I spoke in 2016 just after this photo was taken, I spoke as myself. I was not trying to be anyone else.

There was no pretension.

There was anger at certain injustices and there was a serenity that I surprised myself to find.

In this journey that you may also be travelling like me, it is so important that you be yourself and constantly ask why you are wanting to offer the world your product or service?

I know my who I want to impact individuals who feel alone, and give, give, give but are tired. I want to be there for them whoever they are and remind them why they started giving in the first place, inspire them on.

I like looking at this picture too as it reminds me how important it is to be grateful to those that invite you to speak on stages and shows and platforms.

I also find it a true privilege each time as I usually admire the host or the organisers or the fellow speakers.

There is usually so much wealth of knowledge and experience in the room or online Summit, it humbles me.

I have fond memories of that Conference.

I wanted to share what I am learning with you on this journey.

This is because the ego can seduce you to feeling entitled to being on a certain stage.

You can start chasing Clients, Money and Success.

Entrepreneurship is not about chasing.

It is about attracting and remember success is not an outer experience.

The outer story is really not the real one.

It starts with the inner transformations.

Success I am discovering more and more is the inner peace and joy.

Action is followed by Reflection.

You see money is just energy.

Wealth is inside of you.

The answers to how you can make your business grow is inside of you.

If anyone tells you different, do not trust them.

Because what works for me, may not work for you!

Above is a recent photo of myself enjoying some Islamic Heritage stored at the Victoria and Albert museum.

I wanted you to have a before and after picture to show you that I like spending days away from my Business with friends.

I hope it helps you take some time out from your business as you need some respite in this journey.

This photo was also taken by a dear friend, another friend who I have known for over 25 years.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

If anything in this blog has really resonated with you and you would like to discuss the subject further with Taniya privately then use this link.

Taniya Hussain qualified as a Social Worker in 1991 from Coventry University in England. She has been working on the front lines, consistently holding space for individuals and families for three decades especially, children and young people on the margins of society. Taniya studied Psycho-dynamic counselling from 1991 to 1993 at Goldsmiths College in London. Taniya met Sheikha Halima Krausen in 1992 and has been studying Islam with her ever since especially Mystical Islam, Tassawuf (Sufism) and walks on the Chisti path. Taniya really started using the power of Jungian Pyschology and Mystical Islam when she started her Online Coaching and Consultancy Business in 2018 and discovered she was a powerful healer. When she discovered Shadow Alchemy in 2019, she started developing this modality into Muslim Alchemy in 2020. She now brands herself as the Muslim Alchemist because she is constantly integrating her knowledge of the Quran and Bible with her vast Social Work experience and her extensive ability of applying Psycho-dynamic, therapeutic techniques to organisational settings, team dynamics and when working with individuals and groups. This has both Online and Offline. Taniya uses skillfully her understanding of the Shadow, that Jung constantly talked about and her Mystical Training plus her experience in inter-faith dialogue since 2003, to help individuals and groups become conscious of what they previously were unconscious of leading to rapid success in their Business, Health and Relationships. Taniya has a great skill in being able to see the blind spots in others and in untanging energetic knots (a term she uses for Shadow) to promote healing from mental and physical disease. She uses her vast expertise and skills to help her Online Clients to get rid of decades of anxiety causing insomnia, depression and suicidal thoughts and marital problems. Clients usually are healed in a short amount of time never needing to invest in Therapy again. She really is the Muslim Alchemist as she turns the shitty experience of clients into golden experiences where they manifest upgraded, wealth, health and relationships all at the same time. Taniya got married in 1995 and has three sons born in 1996, 2001 and 2003 and lives in Surrey, England and when she is not developing Muslim Alchemy, she loves to spend time with her family and write fiction stories, songs and poems. She speaks fluent English and Urdu and basic German and French and is learning Arabic and Hebrew.
