I have nothing for you and I have everything for you

I am the Transformational Coach that has nothing for you.

I am also the Transformational Coach that has everything for you.

You see how you see me is entirely up to you.

As a recovering workaholic you can see me as an authority and expert on burn out and workaholism or you can see me as the most unqualified person to teach you or coach you on burn out because I struggle with my Workaholism every second and every minute and not just every waking minute even when I am asleep and this probably makes me a massive hypocrite.

But:

We teach best what we are here to learn

This is what one of my Mentors Lorna Johnson says.

I always suspected I was a workaholic. I defined myself as that in early 2001 after the birth of my first son and feeling so drained and seeing it on a leaflet, it has always been a way of me numbing the pain, distracting myself from my troubles and it has lead me to be very successful in life.

On the outside that is how I appear very successful. Internally this is far from the case. I can feel isolated from my family and my Workaholism drives my husband and three sons mad.

So you can say who am I to teach or coach anyone on Burn Out if I am a recovering workaholic myself and struggling with the issue?

And your question is a very valid one. And my answer is being so intimate with the struggle emotionally and spiritually not just intellectually makes me the best person on the Planet that can help you.

Like I have helped and am healing and helping so many others using my 29 years of being a Social Worker, yes I qualified as one in 1991 and also due to the fact I know the struggles of running a Coaching and Consultancy Business since 2018. I have actually been doing both since January 2018. And kept my sanity. Yes I have been doing a four day a week Social Work job and running an Online Coaching Business on the side.

No mean feat yet I have done and am still doing it and have grown in many ways.

The journey has been a difficult one and it is not a linear one. It has meant I have had to confront some serious monsters in terms of my unconscious shadows and has also lead me to collaborate with leading Influencers in the field of Burn Out.

So with that I leave you to ponder the question do I have nothing to offer you or everything to offer you to help you transform into a Successful Coach?

If you are intrigued to how I can help you with all the stategies I use in keeping burn out at bay and how I do not get overwhelmed and instead calm and focussed despite time constraints then email me at contact@taniyahussain.org to enquire about my 1:1 or Group Containers.

Having qualified as a Social Worker in July 1991 from Coventry University, it has been over two decades that I have been on the front line working with children and young people who are traumatized and on the margins of society. Although I studied Psycho-dynamic counselling for two years at Goldsmiths College (1991-1993), I decided to integrate Psycho-dynamic theories and skills into my Social work practice and flirt with and immerse myself in studying Islam as well as interfaith dialogue and friendships. For the last 20 years, I have been working in a multi-disciplinary Youth Offending Team in South London, comprised of Professional colleagues from different faiths and cultural backgrounds trying to support young people in the criminal justice system. I am married and mother to three sons, and juggle Social Work and interfaith dialogue with my writing, studying and the needs of home and family.
