One consultation can uncover the cause of your challenges or it can be a healing session or you can choose to have a Sufi Tarot card reading. It is up to you, just indicate what you prefer.
So back to you side business owner. Once you sell a few at your low price up the price again slightly.
Then up the price again.

This is for the extremely busy professional. There is the shortest form to fill in. The other consultation has more questions to answer and this type of consult is really designed for you if you have been thinking of working with me for a long time but you really are not too sure I am the one.

So as I was saying you will soon get a list of buyers who have paid you for a consultation and an email list of paid buyers. That is if you link your Stripe to your Active campaign or whatever email marketing tool you use.
These individuals that book a consultation with you will probably pay you again.
And even if they don’t you would have some money coming into your business.
Remember you have business costs to cover.
You are running a business not a charity.

I did these from 2018 to 2022.
Whilst I did some get clients from these clarity calls etc, there were many occasions I didn’t.
I used to end up resenting the time I gave because I run a side business and I don’t have alot of time. I would rather give that time to myself or my family, my friends, to my social work or business clients.
And I would end up having prospective clients becoming bitter and angry for trying to sell to them.
I was shocked because I used to think why did they sign up to the call then.
I was trained to offer this free service.
Now there is nothing wrong with free calls.
I still offer them for 15 minutes but only 15 minutes and I always sell on the call. I don’t have time to beat around the bush.
When I got rid of my fear of selling I started making money in my business.
Remember individuals will come up with objections in the consultation because that is what happens.
There are various reasons for this some are genuine, they have a holiday, a medical appointment, have to get the funds together etc.
Some are not genuine some individuals are actually afraid of success/FULFILLMENT etc
Yes read that again especially if they can see you can deliver it to them on a plate.
Whilst I will not boast I deliver it to my clients I know I facilitate a space and time for them to secure the outcomes they seek, you may be the expert that can.
Their ego can sometimes get in their way and they convince themselves they will try to figure it out again etc etc or stay with the coach they are not happy with because they paid all this money etc etc.
So their objections that they cannot afford it or they cannot afford the time etc need to be gently handled.
If you push too hard, you will get your prospective client to become defensive and actually be put off by you.
If you push not hard enough they may feel you don’t care enough about them.
So ditch the sales conversation sell the paid consultation a one off all by itself.
Link your calendy/acuity to your stripe and start charging.
When I started doing this back in 2022 OMG OMG I felt so GOOD.
I came up with the idea all by myself.

Can you believe it?
Not that they didn’t recognise my three decades of experience.
Because this is not really done in the online space.
The big names offer free clarity calls etc.
I felt good not because I had come up with the idea by myself. That’s so egotistical.
No I felt good because I had money coming into my business and I could start paying off some of my business costs.
You see unlike some of what the big names tell you there are certain business costs like your calendar scheduler, zoom, accountant fees, website costs, cloud storage costs, telephone charges, marketing costs. They don’t have to be much but there are some. And if you run a limited company, there are lots more plus the tax you pay if you get money coming into your business.
So stop trying to do what the big names are telling you…. OWN your expertise start charging for the time you give.
